Fiddlehead Care Farm

Fiddlehead Care Farm is located in picturesque Mono, Ontario, 15 minutes north of Orangeville (45 minutes north of the GTA/70 km north of Hwy 401).

We're a small, organic care farm that offers an alternative kind of structured care for vulnerable people who need support to improve their physical and emotional wellbeing.

We’ve taken our farm setting, added some nature trails, a sensory garden, friendly farm animals to nurture and enjoy, dynamic and well-trained staff, and made it suitable and accessible for all clients and their families.

At Fiddlehead Care Farm, everyone is treated equally in a friendly, non-judgmental manner. Teaching our participants and clients to value their own achievements, in a nurturing and supportive setting, motivates them and increases their self-esteem.

For them, experiencing the great outdoors is life-changing and enhancing. It may be hard work at times, but it's structured and guided. It stretches and challenges each of them in an appropriate manner. Each participant and client is an individual, and our plan for each reflects his or her wants and needs.

Meet our friendly therapy team and see why the dynamic partnership between Stephanie Deaken and Breanne Mathers makes Fiddlehead Care Farm as wonderful as it is.

Client Love

“My child loved having the opportunity to feed the animals every week. I enjoyed the sensory crafts and bringing ideas home. It was nice to have a weekly scheduled outdoor activity away from home, especially this year with COVID. All stations were very safe and clean.”

“She loved coming to the farm. As we entered the driveway and saw the sign, her whole face lit up with happiness and anticipation.”
